Not my most astounding work. But as I recently found out that more and more footage is turning up on YouTube of Cartoon Network's deep-cut "The Moxy Show", I wanted to celebrate by drawing Moxy.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Moxy, he was the first face of Cartoon Network and served as the channel's host in its very early years.

Hey folks! It took WAY too long to get this out, but it's finally done. Well, technically it isn't done, but I'll get to that in a bit. One weird thing that needs explanation at a time.

So, as one can tell, I didn't just make statblocks for the behemoths, write some lore, and call it a day. I've discovered that I really don't like making statblocks and dealing with all the nonsense that comes with it (CR is a joke, and I'm not laughing). So, in typical Foundry fashion, I tried doing something weird that requires more work and ultimately still required me to make statblocks anyway. Yeah, I'm not smart. 

So I made them templates instead. And while I was tempted to give up and just do the obvious thing since I was just going to end up with stats anyway, making them templates makes a certain amount of sense from a lore perspective and I genuinely think is an interesting idea worth pursuing. Quick lore tidbit, behemoths are likely the result of normal creatures becoming mutated by aether (it's not certain, but there are signs of this origin from what I've read), so a template makes logical sense. So, as long as I pick appropriate creatures for the template examples, the end result will get you pretty close to the behemoths in game. Sure, they're not perfect, but it would be easy to tweak them to better suit your game.

So the other behemoth in the room is there are only 3 behemoths here. I had intended on releasing them all at once. Turns out there's like 30+ behemoths AND 5 basically legendary behemoths. So, I'm splitting them up into their elemental categories, and the legendaries by themselves. I already have the Blaze behemoths written out, so those won't take nearly as long. As I complete each category, I'll update this post and make y'all aware of the additions. By the end, I'll have one document with all of them in it, a brew to rival Flesh & Bone.

Expanding on my whole BOTW/TOTK era Termina thing. CONSIDER.

The Champions/Sages counterparts.

Sidon and Mipha are a music sibling duo. Sidon plays the fish guitar and Mipha plays piano. Whether Sidon is his tiny baby self with a giant fish guitar or his tall af self is up for interpretation. Maybe they're the current members of the Indigo-Go's or they're just a sibling duo act. Either way you KNOW their concerts are always sold out.

Daruk I can see being a blacksmith, and later maybe training his grandson, Yunobo. They run the races every year and either give out gold dust or offer like a free voucher for their services or something.

Revali? Mailman. No other reason than I think it would be absolutely hilarious and upset the Revali we know back in Hyrule if he knew. Teba and Tulin's counterparts aren't mailmen in contrast. Tulin would absolutely be a part of the Bombers Secret Society of Justice, maybe even the leader, just like his father was back in the day. Teba would end up being a guard of some sort.

Urbosa is absolutely a cool pirate lady with the rest of the Gerudo in this world, but one that would institute some sort of code of honor. They're still pirates, but maybe they don't go around kidnapping unborn children that need super specific conditions to hatch. And by the time Riju comes around, Riju would be the coolest pirate princess. They have the fortress to back it up, who's gonna tell them they can't make the zappy lightning throwing child a princess? Not the Zora, certainly. More on that later.

Zelda lives in Clock Town I'd say. Maybe she runs the Inn. I wouldn't put her as the mayor/mayor's daughter because I have a whole other thought in mind about that. Might expand on it more if anyone wants to hear it.

The Zonai? Uhhh. I got nothing. Who knows, maybe they don't even exist in Termina.

Still on the "Quay changing Mortefi's bandages as a form of intimacy" thought train, and it's gone from

-> The context in which Quay would first notice Mortefi's bandages, or at least for them to be conspicuous enough for Quay to bring it up and not just. Mentally shrug and move on

-> Which means Mortefi has to at least partially undress

-> Which means they're in a private location, most likely Quay's apartment (though Mortefi's place is also a possibility)

-> Which means now I have to decide on the layout and arrangement of Quay's apartment

I still have a lot of specifics to work out, but on the flip side, I have a few general ideas I can narrow down. Like Quay's on the minimalist side so his apartment is fairly small and not excessively furnished; he probably kept just a couple of his favorite textbooks when he moved; he doesn't hang his degree* framed on the wall or anything because it would have his real/full name on it; oh, and he definitely has to show Mortefi his sea lion skull and fish fossil.

*Trying to decide on the feasibility of Quay having studied at a college in the Riccioli Islands, given that it's apparently relatively isolated from the rest of Rinascita, but MAN they would have a BANGER marine sciences program.

It's actually crazy how having the streets lined with tall mature trees helps with the heat. Sure my walk back from work was in 85-90°F and 90% humidity and sucked, but once I got to my actual neighborhood with the tree lined streets, it was at least bearable.

Anyways don't tell my parents but I think I might actually prefer a humid heart to dry heat now. Or perhaps it's due to the strength of the sun being much stronger in the southwest cluster of states than the northeast cluster of states.
